Sustainability News: Issue 11

With only 3 days left until Ecobuild opens its doors we want to give you a little summary of everything on offer. Ecobuild’s seminar and conference programmes will feature speakers from industry, government and beyond. Here, some of these experts give a sneak preview of their key messages, take a look, start planning and we hope to see you at Ecobuild next week!

The countdown to 7 May has begun. The rise of the SNP and Ukip, and surging membership for the Greens, makes this a difficult election to judge and another coalition government seems a distinct possibility.

Nature and the Built Environment bring together a number of features to educate and inspire visitors.

The Biodiversity Pavilion at the event will feature eighteen key organisations including conservation charities, ecological consultancy services and innovative product designers. The Natural Building Materials area, co-ordinated by architectural designer Abigail Stevenson of the Community Energy Lab, will explore a variety of sustainable construction solutions.
