"Perspective - 2008" Competition
The main aim of the competition is to show and encourage creation of talented young Moscow architects working no longer than 5 years after graduation from university. The competition is once a two years. It is a youth version of prestigious prize "Golden section" handed out for 12 years.
“Yar-Gorod” meets young architects and sees the winter off
During Pancake week the 6th Festival “Goroda” (“Cities”) was celebrated in Jaroslavl as “Jar-Gorod” festival. The Gubernatorial garden in the centre of the city was decorated with 20 constructions created by young architects from Moscow, St.Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazakhstan.
“ArchStoyaniye 2008. Winter” Festival
The annual land art festival as always took place in Nicola-Lenivets village. The artist Nikolay Polisskyi showed his fire-spitting installation “Jar-ptytsa”, the architect Anna Shchetinina displayed her high-rise architectural object “House over the Woods”. The artist Alexander Konstantinov erected a basilica-izba, and artel “Nicola-Lenivetskie promisly” created ornithological installation “The rooks have come”.
“Shaman-Gorod"/ "Shaman-City"
The International Architectural Youth Festival “Shaman-Gorod” (which is part of “Goroda” festivals) took place in the lake Baikal in July, 2007. The town of 50 conceptual architectural objects arosed in Olchon island in 3 days only.
Fantasy boundary. “ArchStoyaniye 2007. Summer”
“ArchStoyaniye” festival becomes special artistic and architectural space, important rendezvous point for the architects and the artists, whose creative fantasies are personified into reality in Nicola-Lenivets village. 2007 did not become exception - in spite of very bad weather there were many participants and spectators.
The "Golden Section - 2007" Competition
The Prize is awarded for the best architectural projects and realizations, for publications, scientific-research and critical works on architecture of Moscow, as well as for special achievements in the architectural practice, pedagogics and theory.
Festival "ArchStoyaniye 2007. Winter"
This time Pancake week celebration took place in the small Kaluga village Nicola-Lenivets, forgotten in idyllic valley of the river Ugra. People from Moscow and Kaluga suburbs came to celebrate popular holiday together – on "ArchStoyaniye 2007. Winter" festival.
