UIA2011 TOKYO Japan Organizing Board (JOB) hosting UIA2011 TOKYO together with UIA (The International Union of Architects) was officially established on July 12, 2006, by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and architectural related associations including Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ), Japan Association of Architectural Firms (JAAF), The Federation of Architects and Building Engineers Association (FABEA), Building Contractors Society (BCS) and The Japan Institute of Architects (JIA).
In JOB, five Task Units operate the practical activities for UIA2011 TOKYO along with two senior organizations, National Advisory Board and Executive Committee.
