Urbanpromo is an urban and territorial marketing event with the aim of increasing the culture of urban, economic and ecological feasibility of the projects, improving the quality of the planning processes, and making the market more open and competitive.
Urbanpromo creates chances for public private partnership and for interdisciplinary collaboration making interact bodies which hold planning power; public and private owners of buildings to be valorized; estate promoters; building companies; banks and foundations; real estate investors; intermediation companies; developers and managers of infrastructures and public services; public and private bodies and subjects from the cooperation field involved in the planning; developers and managers of the services; research institutes; professionals and researchers.
Urbanpromo starts in 2004 and focus its attention towards urban transformation projects. In 2005 enlarges his interests field to the relationships between real estate investors and infrastructure investors, with particular attention to the mobility and transports. In 2006 Urbanpromo, maintaining its focus on urban and infrastructural projects, opens up to the territorial marketing . Last edition of Urbanpromo, in 2007, was characterized by the attention given to the strategic planning, to the real estate and to the public private partnership projects.
Themes of Urbanpromo 2008
During Urbanpromo 2008 it will be given importance to the themes that are at the center of the attention of people who deal with urban transformation and local development. The four days of UP08 are focused on three main themes:
