Child be the architect of a better future. The 2008 World Day of Architecture will be celebrated on Monday 6 October 2008.

According to the UIA General Assembly in Turin (3-6 July), it will be dedicated to Giancarlo Ius. The theme will be "Child Be the Architect of a better future " in honour of the song, for which he composed the lyrics.

The 2008 WDA commemoration will serve as an illustration of this message. Each UIA Member Sections is invited to give its own interpretation of Giancarlo’s aspirations and of those of all children on the planet.
