The City of Villaputzu organizes an international competition of ideas, called "Dosa", to design a museum and its service areas within an archaeological area, from the conversion of two existing irrigation tanks and structures related to them. The new building will include exhibition spaces for exhibitions, space to house collections, spaces for representation functions, offices, as well as a book shop and service facilities.

The purpose of the contest is to find a solution for the recovery of the two tanks existing irrigation include identifying alternative solutions for irrigation of the plain now served by them, which is compatible with the unique environment, both natural and cultural and archaeological heritage, in order to achieve a balance between the aesthetic, functional, technical and economic, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

The competition is an open international call for ideas.  Participants must be licensed to practice architect's or engineer's profession in their own countries.
