The institute, created in 2004, provides the region’s territory with the town-planning documentation. Some six territorial planning schemes of the municipalities, up to 200 general plans of settlements have been developed since the moment of creation. Some 15 territorial planning schemes of the  municipal districts, 27 general plans of city and rural settlements, 99 general plans of localities, 16 projects of territory lay-out is planned to develop in 2008. There are 100 employees, three architectural - planning workshops with several profile groups in the institute. Presence of highly skilled experts allows open joint-stock company «Institute of territorial development of Krasnodar region» conduct complex development of the town-planning documentation of different levels according to the requirements of the Town-planning Code of the Russian Federation. The institute actively uses modern methodology and technology of development of all kinds and stages of territorial and town-planning projects. Carried out works are provided with scientific and methodical materials which basic part is unique and is constantly improved.

Kinds of activity:

- Development of territorial planning schemes of municipal districts;

- Providing municipalities with the town-planning documentation (general plans of city districts, general plans of city and rural settlements, lay-out projects, outline sketches of building; town-planning projects of investment-attractive objects)
